While insurance coverage is not guaranteed, many families successfully pursue reimbursement when our apparel is prescribed or recommended as part of a therapeutic care plan.

Step-by-Step Insurance Reimbursement Guide

Step 1: Speak With Your Child’s Provider

 

Discuss GiftedLilOnes™ with your child’s:

  • Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • ABA provider
  • Developmental pediatrician
  • Primary care physician

Ask if our medical-grade therapeutic apparel can be added to your child’s therapy plan or treatment goals to support sensory regulation, emotional regulation, independence, or functional participation.

Step 2: Request Supporting Documentation

Insurance companies often require documentation such as:

  • A Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)
  • A written therapy recommendation
  • Inclusion of the apparel within an OT or ABA treatment plan

Step 3: Contact Your Insurance Provider

Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
